Directions for Submission of Petitions to the College of Pharmacy Academic and Professional Standards Committee:

Petitions to Waive Course Prerequisites or Corequisities

1. Concisely state the request and the reason why the petitioner believes it is unnecessary to take the prerequisite or why other coursework should be substituted for the prerequisite.
2. Submit the petition with supporting material* such as outlines, examinations, etc. from the course(s) believed to meet the intent of the prerequisite.

Petitions to Waive Core Courses

1. Concisely state the request and the reason why the petitioner believes it is unnecessary to take the prerequisite or why other coursework should be substituted for the prerequisite.
2. Submit the petition with supporting material* such as outlines, examinations, etc. from the course(s) believed to have covered the material taught in the core course.

Other Petitions

1. Concisely state the request and the reason why the petitioner believes the request should be approved.
2. Submit the petition with the appropriate supporting materials*.
