We want you to succeed as both a student and a professional pharmacist. As a Pharm.D. student, you will spend your first two academic years in Corvallis at OSU, your third year in Portland at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and your fourth year in Advanced Experiential Program (AEP) clerkships. MBA Program
Current Pharm.D. students and alumni can apply to participate in the Pharm.D./MBA dual degree program. This program, offered in collaboration with the College of Business, allows students to work towards Pharm.D. and MBA degrees simultaneously. The amount of time and coursework needed to complete the MBA will vary depending on students' academic goals and prior business experience.
The Pharm.D./MBA program might be a good fit if you:
- Want to become a manager or executive with a community pharmacy chain
- Want to own your own pharmacy
- Want to become a manager or executive for a health care system
- Want to work for the pharmaceutical industry
- Want to broaden your leadership and business abilities
Current students interested in the Pharm.D./MBA program should contact a College of Pharmacy advisor and submit the interest form below. Forms
Petition Form (Web Form) - This form is used to submit a petition regarding academic or professional policies of the college. Examples of reasons to create a petition include desiring to take a non-approved elective course or desiring to participate in the distance education program.
MBA Program (Web Form) - This form is used to express interest in the Pharm.D./MBA program. An academic advisor will follow up with you after you submit the form.
Elective Request Form (Word Form) - This form is used to request enrollment in a research-based PHAR 701, 705, or 797 class, ensuring that the student and his/her research mentor have a coherent plan of study.
Needle Stick/Bodily Fluid Incident Report Form (Word Form) - This form is used to report bodily fluid exposures, needle sticks, or similar injuries to College of Pharmacy faculty, staff, and students. Submit this form to the Director of Experiential Programs within 24 hours of the injury.
Academic Grievance (Web Form) - This form is used to submit an academic grievance to the College of Pharmacy Academic and Professional Standards Committee.
