Kathy Ketchum is interested in outcomes research and health policy. She is currently responsible for coordinating the college's programs associated with the Oregon Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP). Her work involves the development of research strategies to assess drug use patterns and to evaluate drug use policies proposed to OMAP by outside vendors. She provides OMAP with drug use policy proposals designed to improve pharmacotherapy for the Oregon Health Plan patient population. Her duties include administration of the Oregon Drug Use Review (DUR) Board and its perpetual review of drug use criteria and drug policy. She facilitates the DUR Board's evaluation process and educational interventions.
