Several assistantships are available from the College of Pharmacy to support outstanding first-year graduate students. However, many first year students are accepted without financial support. Support after the first year is usually in the form of research assistantships and is determined by the availability of funds from grants and contracts held by the student's major professor. There are a limited number of teaching assistantships for senior graduate students, and these are awarded on the basis of need and merit. International students accepted without support must show evidence of $28,365 for financial certification, and any determination regarding financial support cannot be made until an international student arrives on campus.
Assistantships are assigned spring term for the upcoming academic year starting in fall.
