Pre-Pharmacy

Interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy? Undergraduate students should enroll in the pre-pharmacy program by majoring in general science with a pre-pharmacy option. Pre-pharmacy students receive academic advising and other support services through the College of Science. Full-time students usually complete the pre-pharmacy courses and OSU’s Baccalaureate Core (general education curriculum) in three to four years. Completing the pre-pharmacy courses prepares students to apply to Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programs.

Students who have already earned a bachelors degree should consider applying as Post-Baccalaureate applicants through the College of Science.  Consult the College of Science Post-Bacc Admission Policy for further detail.
