89 entering Pharm.D. students were introduced to their new field on Monday, October 6, 2008. Dean Kradjan explained that the white coats the students were presented with symbolized professionalism in the health fields. Owen Alford, president of the Pharmacy Student Executive Council, led the students in reciting the "Pledge of Professionalism." Danielle Mackey represented Providence Health & Services, the sponsor of the night's event. Larry Cartier of Wellpartner also addressed the students. The ceremony was followed by a dinner for faculty, students and their family and friends.
