The pre-pharmacy program allows students to work toward a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in general science with a pre-pharmacy option. The degree is composed of three things: baccalaureate core requirements, major requirements and elective credit. In order to complete the B.S. in general science, students must earn a minimum of 180 credits, as illustrated below.
Of the 180 total credits required for the B.S. degree, 36 must be from upper-division science courses and 24 must be from additional upper-division science or non-science. OSU courses numbered 300 or higher are considered upper division.
