The Oregon Antimicrobial Stewardship Network (ORASN)

About Us

The Oregon Antimicrobial Stewardship Network (ORASN) is a non-profit, voluntary collaborative of healthcare professionals, public health officials, and academic researchers that work together as an interdisciplinary community to improve the quality and safety of antimicrobial utilization and infectious disease treatment through an ongoing cooperative program including education, research, quality improvement projects and advocacy for improving patient outcomes and increasing prudent antimicrobial use.

What is Antimicrobial Stewardship?

Antimicrobial stewardship aims to monitor and improve upon antimicrobial use so as to limit the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance while also optimizing patient outcomes.

Our Mission

Our interdisciplinary collaborative will support antimicrobial stewardship in Oregon by providing members a forum for peer learning and collaborative infrastructure to support quality improvement and research initiatives.
