Early Assurance Program Admission Process

The EAP application will open on November 1st, 2023

As part of your application you must include:

  • Unofficial or official transcripts - upload these transcripts on the portal page after submitting the online application
    • From every college institution you've attended or received college credit
    • From your high school (high school applicants and first year college students only)
  • 2 letters of reference (People who know you well and can comment on the qualities that will make you a successful pharmacist, such as professors, employers, and practicing pharmacists are good sources of recommendations. Family members or friends should not write letters of recommendation for you.)

All materials must be received by the College of Pharmacy by June 1st.  Letters of recommendation that have been requested by June 1st will have a short grace period for recommenders to submit them.

Applicants must also submit a short essay (4000 characters, including spaces). Applicants should write their essays in Word or a Text Editor and then upload their essays on the essay page of the application. 

Essay Prompt:  How have you determined that pharmacy is the right career for you?  What factors specifically attracted you to pharmacy versus another healthcare profession?

Federal Jeanne Clery Information

Each year, Oregon State University publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report to comply with the requirements of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. The report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Oregon State University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters.
