Quarterly Dose | Winter 2026

Another term has come and gone. While our faculty and students have been hard at work teaching and studying, respectively, we've held many events and opportunities to connect with our community!  From Portland, OR, to Surprise, AZ, from fundraising for our Student Organizations at Apothecary Ball to showcasing our headline-making research at our 2026 Rising Lecture & Graduate Student Retreat. Here's just a glimpse of what we've been up to this past term:

2026 Rising Lecture & Graduate Student Research Retreat

Our OSU College of Pharmacy 2026 Rising Lecture & Graduate Student Research Retreat provided opportunities for our graduate students and guests to present their research, tour the Robertson Life Sciences Building, and take part in an interactive poster showcase and reception.

Dr. Jacob Estes, Ph.D., Professor at the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute, and Chief of the Division of Pathobiology & Immunology at the Oregon National Primate Research Center, provided the keynote address: "The TB Granuloma: Understanding the Dynamic Battlefield Between Host Immunity and Pathogen Survival."

This event offers a closer look at the research happening across the College, provides an opportunity for our research students to gain experience presenting their research, and lets us celebrate the people driving it forward.

Apothecary Ball

We had a lovely evening with everyone who came out to support our student outreach organizations! From dancing to drinks and a silent auction, we loved celebrating together. With the resources we earned we will be able to provide better experience and leadership opportunities. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.

Admitted Students Day

We were excited to welcome members of our Class of 2030 to our very first Admitted Students Day! It was an opportunity to connect with our incoming students and their families, share what's ahead and start building community early. From tours and a small group session to a conversation with families on how to support their Pharm.D. student, the day was an exciting and meaningful preview of what's to come!

Dean's Circle

Members of our Dean’s Circle, composed of alumni and partners of the College of Pharmacy, met with CoP leaders and student ambassadors to discuss the state of the College. Together, we collaborated on building a bright future for OSU College of Pharmacy.
