About Us

The Oregon Antimicrobial Stewardship Network (ORASN) is a non-profit, voluntary collaborative comprised of healthcare professionals, public health officials, and academic researchers. Our work is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes and improving the quality and safety of antimicrobial utilization and infectious disease treatment through education, research, and quality improvement projects.

What is Antimicrobial Stewardship?

Antimicrobial stewardship aims to monitor and improve antimicrobial use to limit the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance while optimizing patient outcomes.

Our Mission

Our interdisciplinary collaborative supports antimicrobial stewardship in Oregon by providing members a forum for peer learning and collaborative infrastructure to support quality improvement and research initiatives.
