Tuition and Fees
Students enrolled in our on-campus and Ecampus M.S. degree programs do not receive department funding and should plan to be fully self-supported for tuition, mandatory fees, and living expenses. A limited number of Graduate School scholarships and awards are available on a competitive basis but should not be relied upon as the primary funding source.
OSU doesn't require students to pre-pay tuition before each term, so every student at Oregon State University has a student account, and must electronically sign the Student Financial Services Agreement found in MyBill.oregonstate.edu which outlines rights and responsibilities of the billing account.
Financial Aid and Scholarship money is credited directly to the student account and is used to pay tuition and qualifying charges. Any excess financial aid is refunded to the student in the form of a check or direct deposit to the student's bank account. When you finish registering, your schedule is official. This obligates you to pay all tuition and fees for your classes.
Note that in addition to tuition, students are charged enrollment fees (also known as mandatory fees), and a one-time matriculation fee at the start of the first term of enrollment.

Scholarships and Awards
The OSU Graduate School Awards include opportunities to apply for competitive scholarships and awards. The majority of these scholarships are for current students (not newly admitted) and require a nomination from the student’s program.
Newly-admitted and continuing OSU students are eligible to apply for scholarships through ScholarsDollars, which is hosted by ScholarshipUniverse. Students must be admitted to OSU and have an active ONID account to be able to log into the system and submit an application. Merit-based, need-based, and activity-based OSU scholarships are available, and OSU ScholarDollars also offers personalized suggestions of external scholarships for which you may be eligible.
