Applying to the Residency Program
Process
When you are ready to apply, go to the PhORCAS online application system.
You will be asked to supply:
- Three references
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Letter of intent
- Official pharmacy school transcript
You may apply to one site on PharmCAS to avoid extra costs. We encourage you to add the other site during the matching process if you are interested in both sites.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School or College of Pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Oregon
- National Resident Matching Program participant
Deadline
The deadline for applications is January 2.
Requirements
Req 1
Be a graduate of a Pharmacy School or College. Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Req 2
Be licensed or eligible for Oregon pharmacist licensure (will not sponsor nonimmigrant or immigrant status)
Req 3
Be registered with the National Matching Service (NMS)
Req 4
Participate in the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS)
Req 5
In addition to the standard information provided via PhORCAS, please be sure that your application includes:
- A letter of interest to the program specific to the site you are applying to (ie. Yakima Valley Farm Worker’s Clinic, Community Health Centers of Benton/Linn Counties)
- Three (3) references (each reference writer must complete the standard reference form; a separate letter of recommendation is not required)
