Early Assurance Program
For Prospective Pharm.D. Students
EAP is designed for high school seniors, current college students, and post-baccalaureate students who want to secure their future in pharmacy while gaining the tools and support to thrive.
As an EAP student, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a guaranteed spot in the Pharm.D. program (contingent upon a successful PharmCAS application and interview). Along the way, you’ll:
Complete your prerequisite coursework at any accredited college or university while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of your choice, or without one, if preferred.
Build professional skills and connections through exclusive EAP events and advising.
Explore the field of pharmacy through hands-on experiences and healthcare opportunities.
Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program
For Prospective Ph.D., M.S., M.S. Ecampus Students
A 10-Week Program between June and September for aspiring pharmaceutical researchers. Opportunities are available to participate in hands-on bench research in the College of Pharmacy in laboratories that seek to discover new medicines, novel and innovative means of drug delivery, new targets for drug therapy, and to improve current drug therapy regime for patients.
Activities include running assays, isolating bioactive compounds, assisting with research subjects, keeping a detailed lab notebook, presenting at weekly lab meetings, developing a formal presentation of research results and helping with daily lab clean-up and maintenance.
