Residency & Placement

Oregon State University PharmD students exceed the national average in registering for the residency match process, actively listing in the process, and matching with a program.

Recent residency outcomes for applicants include:
 

  • 87% match rate among the 2024 graduates who had an active listing in the residency matching process, compared to the national average of 81%.
  • 80% match rate among the 2024 graduates who registered for the residency matching process, compared to the national average of 73%.
  • 58% match rate among the entire graduating class of 2024.

Over seven years, College of Pharmacy graduates completed residency programs at over 110 unique residency placement sites across the country in 34 different states.

Join A Supportive Learning Community

You can find our home in the lush, tight-knit town of Corvallis, Oregon, where you’ll experience our personable culture and personalized education. You’ll spend the first two years of the Pharm.D. program here, before joining our partner campus at the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU)—a renowned academic medical center in Portland— for your third year. And, though you’ll get hands-on learning experiences throughout your 4-year program, your fourth year will be entirely devoted to working directly with communities throughout the state and beyond.
