The Dual Degree Difference
Pursuing a dual degree as a pharmacy student offers you distinct advantages by blending clinical expertise with complementary skills from another field. Whether it's business, public health, or research, this combination expands career options beyond traditional pharmacy roles. A dual degree can provide you a more competitive edge, preparing you for leadership positions in healthcare systems, the pharmaceutical industry, and policy-making. It enables you to tackle complex healthcare challenges with a more holistic perspective, empowering you to make a broader impact on patient care, healthcare innovation, and system management. Ultimately, it positions you for success in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. Here at the OSU College of Pharmacy you have the option of two different dual degrees:
Pharm.D./MBA
Synergizing the business skills of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with the clinical knowledge of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
Pharm.D./Ph.D.
Preparing you for careers in both clinical practice and cutting-edge research.
